Summary

Creative 1.0 I cant place traps and health regen doesn’t work!
You guys need to get your poop together! This games been out like 7 years and its still broken
What kind of twisted reality do we live in where one of the biggest games we have is always broken! Can you just hire someone (me) to do a QA and fix things like this. players rely on this game to play, developers rely on this game to earn a living and epic rely on this as its flagship game

I swear all I do on these forums is complain. id love to actually foster a community and make games I live but everything’s always broken

if i ran epic id get these things fixed asap as in within the next 2 days / week and push a patch. like what am i supposed to do now i cant make any game involving traps. start another idea which will also break for some reason?
also why cant guards attack players of certain classes only teams!
bruh i could go on all day with everything wrong with this game and solutions but you guys don’t pay me anything. even if i volunteered because its a game we all love it falls on death ears. I’ve got bug reports just in the shadows never mentioned never fixed/ like here’s a simple one. just let us vote on what you should fix! that way the majority of us are happy. give the toy spawner god give us the upgrade bench. give us the tent. so many cool fun exciting things you could do but no fortnite has just turned into a roblox ripoff. all the popular games just look like roblox and have nothing to do with fortnite. i know you say your changing things but where ever are the updates? those lowsy live streams? theres the email to us all. where the clear comunity tabs. you guys suck!

Steps to Reproduce

try place a trap , try use health regen, try place billboard. try place a prop and then go 20 meters away and its disappeared. have your friend move a prop but it wont sync. have a guard use classes.

Expected Result

i get to make the game i want using the tools provided

Observed Result

homelessness because I couldn’t pay the bills after making games fulltime

This forum is for bug reports, not ranting, so Epic will very likely not pay attention to this, let alone respond.

That said, while your frustration is understood I can’t help but wonder if you should be asking yourself the same question. Creative 1.0? You do realize they have not been concentrating on that for a couple of years now right? UEFN is the way to go and everybody started moving there from a while back. While UEFN is buggy here and there and the games we make do end up breaking many times due to the changes Epic makes, they very much do listen to feedback and are always looking to hear from reliable bug reporters that help them fix the mistakes that were made.

There is definitely a path to make a living in this ecosystem but you have to be willing to move forward in what you’re doing and how you’re doing it. Growth is hard for sure, but it’s needed as more and more devs keep pushing the limits and those are the ones making the money. You kinda sound like a lawnmower salesman that is complaining everybody is using them “new fangled motorized versions” while you want to continue to use the push ones with the rolly blades kind of thing.
