Accolades do not calibrate when map is not published by team owner account.
When a team member that is not the owner and has publishing rights calibrates a map and then publishes it the xp accolades do not calibrate

Steps to Reproduce

  • Team member that is not the owner and has publishing rights makes a new map update (All accolades are set up correctly and have worked before)
  • The team member calibrates the map
  • The team member then publishes the map in the creator portal

Expected Result

Accolades show up and are calibrating correctly

Observed Result

The creator portal now says the map has now accolades and the accolades never calibrate

When a map is updated, it restarts the Accolade calibration process. So maybe what you’re seeing is a recently updated map that has not completed calibration.

About how many plays has it taken to complete calibration in the past? Have you received a similar number of plays after the other team member published the update?

Our first version XP showed in analytics the first day.

Every version for the past month after that we no longer see XP events in analytics. It also shows “No Accolade Device exists”.

We’re released multiple versions following the steps to de-bug the device by selecting and saving actor as… and remaking the device.

But the owner also only published the first version. Every version after that was published by another team member.

And to add data points: we’ve had many more plays after the first day. First day analytics shows XP. More play sessions after has never registered XP.

Hey, Thanks for the quick response. I have been a creator for years. This is just my second account where I have some of my older uefn and creative 1.0 maps :slight_smile:
All accolades have already been selected and resaved multiple times so this is not the problem here. I am 100% sure that it only calibrates correctly when calibrating and publishing a map with the main team owner account

This happens only when publishing from an account that is not the team owner accout. I have had this happen on multiple maps. (With publishing in this case I do not mean publishing in the creator portal but the whole process like going into the uefn editor, publishing a new build with memory calculation and then going to the creator portal and publish it from there)

I have a map that has around 5000 - 10000 players a day. When publishing from the main account that is owner of the team / map (chrisplegacy) the xp calibration starts as expected and all accolades show up. Usually after around 2000 - 3000 players have played the map the accolades get calibrated

Publishing from my other account (chrisp) that is not owner of the team the accolades do not show up in the creator poralt and it says this map has no data available for accolades

As soon as I publish a map build again from the team owner account the accolade calibration starts as normally expected an all accolades show up correctly, as well as calibration getting done correctly after around 2000-3000 players have played

Screenshot after Teammember account (chrisp) calibrates the map and publishes it (Normally even if XP is not calibrated yet this screen shows you how many times an accolade has been triggered, instead it says no data):

This seems like exactly the case. I think this is exactly what causes your issues as well :slight_smile:

We are experiencing the same thing. If the account owner doesn’t publish, accolades do not show on our dash.

The status of UCB-1252 incident has been moved from ‘Needs Triage’ to ‘Closed’. Resolution Reason: ‘Duplicate’

Also for comparision here is a screenshot after going through calibration and publishing with the team owner account.

The xp is now correctly in the calibration process as all accolades show up. At this state it will now correctly take 2000 - 3000 players and it will finish calibration like expected. Accolades have not changed between the versions. Only thing different between before and after is that this time I published with the team owner account

Wanted to confirm this solved the issue for us. Spent a month getting no XP data. Re-published with account owner and XP data showed same day.

Also published another map recently where I am an Adminstrator of the team not the Owner and xp calibrated in that map successfully after 2 days.

The problem from above was when publishing as a “Publisher”. So the problem is either fixed now or publlshing as Administator also leads to XP getting calibrated successfully!
