Dear All,
I’m creating a short movie of 14 minutes. It contains a lot of metahumans, and I load many video files in the project too.
Unreal starts to stall all the time, and I’ve found some workarounds for this problem.
Although, I’m not able to fluently verify, or adjust the edit (because of the stalls)
The idea is to render the movie, and adjust and verify the edit in Premiere. Afterward, I’ll correct shot by shot in unreal.
I have a master sequence that contains 21 sequences. Each of the 21 sequences consists out of a camera cut track and different action subsequences.
I’m working in Unreal 5.1 and it seems the option to render with an EDL isn’t possible anymore (as it was in UE4).
My problem is, that the “final cut pro XML”-option isn’t giving me any solution. The render options are limited to “Data Source” and “File Name Format Override”. It searches for the 21 sequences in an MXF format when importing into Premiere.
So…
I’m looking for a method to have all my shots in Premiere, preferably with handles and a unique name, and also a way where the clips are referring to several shot folders which consist of frames.
Any ideas?
Thank you!
