I was trying to perform refactoring in xcode. But, Xcode says indexing and this process seems to take forever. I also googled and found some stackoverflow [solutions][1] but that didn’t helped either

I’m having the same issue. Building from source taking 8+ hours on a beast i9 machine.
Even though this topic is +3 years old, I have the same problem.
UE5.2.1 (didn’t work on previous versions of UE5 either) Apple M2 with 16GB of RAM, macOS Ventura 13.4.1.
Tried everything from deleting the derived data folder, caches, etc.
Let Xcode do its indexing for over a week, the little progress bar always stuck at about 25%.
I am just testing Ue 5.3 and it seems that they finally fixed that problem.
Autocomplete is working even when it haven’t indexed the whole project.
I am using Xcode 15 beta, UE 5.3 and macOS Sonoma beta as well.
