Summary
This is an issue I’ve been having since I downloaded the game, which was late last year so at least 4 months. When clipping Fortnite on an Xbox One- no matter the duration of the clip - the character becomes unplayable for a few seconds, spins in circles, and then it disconnects my controller for a few moments. I have just gotten off of a support chat with Microsoft and they claim this is an issue with the game, as I do not have this issue with any other game, whether it be on console or the Xbox One. This has costed me countless games and ranked matches.
This controller is decently new and lightly used, so there are no issues within it, and this has happened on another controller as well. I have gone through the process of updating my controller, updating my console, uninstalling and reinstalling Fortnite, and completely resetting my console to no avail, all for Microsoft to tell me its a game-specific issue.
The video that I have attached is what happens when I press “record last 15 seconds”. During the spinning process, the xbox logo on the controller blinks and the character is unmovable and no buttons or sticks work. The moment that the character stops spinning is when my controller shuts off, and I get the pop up saying “You need a controller to play this game.” - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZZ_hz0U8zU

- Press the Xbox home button, scroll to “Capture and Share”
- “Record what happened”, select any duration of clip
Expected Result
