Workflow of Rendering(exporting) images in path tracer, TM Slows down computer while screen render.

Hello.

I have a problem with workflow of rendering(exporting images in Pathtracer)

whenever I make my pictures I work with classic render style and use Low quality pathtracer to chcek image if it looks correct. Then I save the image to library.

The problem:

As the images are finished and I want to export them I have to get to every image and manualy open every image turn on the pathtracer and set it to High settings.

The problem with program is as I do it, it automaticaly starts to render the image on screen and it kills my machine. It slows program so much that it is not usable, everything takes minutes to do in TM, even changing menus and when I accidentaly move screen it starts to render from begining and I waste a lot of time

(AMD 5600ryzen, AMD RX6800, 32GB Ram)

The solution:

Please allow us to set how we want to render(export) images in export settings without automaticaly rendering the images on screen.

small menu before render, how we want to do it, With our without pathtracer and what quality settings of pathtracer etc.

Anyone else have same problem? when it automaticaly starts rendering pathtracer on screen the TM is killing PC and it is not normaly usable?

Thanks

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community and sorry to hear about this issue when rendering and trying to adjust the settings. Currently there isn't a way to Pause the rendering when changing settings to avoid this issue and recommend you make a suggestion on the road-map to help with this behavior: https://portal.productboard.com/7pu88c9kpmqtzt8hwg6arujh/tabs/4-under-consideration

I also recommend you contact us directly and report the crashing issue:

https://twinmotionhelp.epicgames.com/s/case-community-page

I also recommend you look at your system activity before it crashes to see if you can improve your computer specs such as increasing the RAM to avoid this issue as it could be the scenes you are working on are large. https://www.twinmotion.com/en-US/docs/getting-twinmotion/hardware-and-software-specifications-for-twinmotion

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
