Workflow of Path Tracer and Quality of Path Tracer

I’m using TM and UE5 at same time. There something sharing with TM Dev Team.

  1. We’re using PC RTX 4070, rendering Interior Scene. Whenever we active Path Tracer, they will be extremely lag and difficult to adjust such as material, lighting,… realtime. It will easier with UE5. Someone may suggest active Denoiser but it not good enough quality of fabric and details.

  2. Currently, we need to Active Path Tracer and go to Media and active rendering final image. It will be extremely lag. Can you consider another workflow?

  3. Someone will talk Denoiser is good for Interior Scene, but From my perspective it not good enough because details of wood and fabric will be lost.

  4. If we compare 30 minutes rendering Interior Scene, without Denoise. 1024 Sample + 10 Bounce. 4k Resolution. TM need to do more in order to reach the quality of UE5. There are a lot of noise. Someone may suggest increase Sample and Bounce but It cost the time and still noise.

We believe that TM use core of UE5. I still like TM, hope TM Dev Team will reach UE5 quality soon.
