The whole scene was inspired from Apocalypto and added some custom color grading to it blending the style of the movie with a bit of mine. This is a piece of work I’ve decided to do while I was in vacation! I’ve experimented with a new Sky Material and mixed it with Sky Creator and different asset packs(Ancient Temple, Brushify) and I’ve added tons of Megascans from the library. I’m fairly sure it’s about time I give my PC a nice revision it seems I’m not able to push it anymore especially at the end on the last render of the video, but nonetheless it was very fun.
I had to rewatch this multiple times to try to see all detail and assets used. The stone vases and warm fire give such a natural feeling to the environment and really add to that “historic” element. Beautifully done and thanks for sharing!
Hey! I appreciate it! Thank you I’ve been well, I’ve been too busy between my CGMA instructor’s joba and at Ubisoft. I finally found some time to squeeze some time into something I wanted to do.
“Words Through The Temple” is very intriguing, @dottorgrasso! Your captivating screenshots and brief cinematic scene offer a glimpse into a mysterious and ancient culture. I have yet to watch “Apocalypto”. What would you rate the movie out of 10?
This is so pretty t look at! It feels like it was captured on one of those early morning walks on a beach and the viewer just happened upon this fantastical scene! I also haven’t gotten the chance to watch “Apocalypto” but I’m certainly going to look into it now!
I appreciate the heads up; I plan to watch it one of these weekends. I left a like on your Artstation post and followed you as well! Thank you for sharing your wonderful creation with us in the forums!
