Hi guys,
I created a small forest but the wind does not work correctly. The trees are moving but the grass, flowers and so one are only, if I select them. Also after Render.
But why?

Hi Lex,
Back in my day, we’d use the word ‘Bump’ to bump a thread back to the top.
You’ll have better luck getting an answer with more specific info. (pictures and/or video helps too!)
Is everything that should be moving in the wind using the ‘Wind’ material node or maybe some other sort of WorldPositionOffset technique?
Cheers
I think I know the solution to your problem but it would be incredibly useful to have a video. Could you post one?
Hi Astrotronic,
thanks for the lesson
Here is the clip:
Is there a wind actor in the scene?
Are the materials set to actually use the wind actor?
Do the items on the scene and the lighting you are using actually support WPO vertex shifting?
Etc. there’s probably at least another 10 questions of basics that just saying “doesn’t work” won’t cover…
Yes, it’s a wind actor in the scene.
Yes, the materials are all set to the wind actor
