Will branch be enforced if I change to Star Wars collaboration?

Are you using the CLI? if yes, try avoiding using it with the editor opened, it may cause issues.

Try restarting the editor and check if the new branch appears on the branch explorer… If you created it through CLI it maybe did not got updated to be visible in the editor UI
