Width of datatype dropdown does not expand with column width in editor

I cannot increase the width of the dropdown control for the datatype within the editor.
Right now I can not see the whole name of the datatype and it can be confusing as to which one is selected. I have tried expanding the column but that does not seem to affect this control in anyway.

This occurs in many places in the engine. it is Top of my WTH annoyances. in fact, i just spent about a half an hour trying to figure out why something was not working because of it.
