To reproduce this, create a Widget Blueprint and then a child of this.
In the child add an animation.
Add the child widget to the viewport and try too play the animation.
For me it does not work, and if I use the “isValid” check on the animation variable, it returns false.
If I reparent the child widget to the base widget class, the animation works.
