Why my texture look messed up in my own wall?

Hi, hope you’re fine, look… my problem begins when I make a wall with Maya and import it to Unreal Engine 4, so, what’s the problem?. the real problem is that if I put a wall of the starter content in my level the texture looks great, i mean small and with great quality, but when i put the same texture in the other wall that i made in Maya it looks so big and obviously with bad quality :S i follow the official tutorial of how to export static mesh from Maya to UE4 but this problem appears…

Before you import the wall mesh, be sure to apply a good uv-map to it. in your case the uv-map of your own wall is way too small which results in a giant texture. rescale it (about 400 - 800 percent me thinks…) to get a better result :slight_smile:
