Summary

Yesterday we launched a whole new game mod, but it’s not shown up in Discovery. It’s an interesting and unique experience. Not a replica like 99% of current islands there. How it can be fixed?

Steps to Reproduce

Learn verse and UEFN. Create a new and interesting game mod. Develop and launch it. And watch it being ignored by the Fortnite itself.

Expected Result

Our island in discovery. People playing and enjoying it.

Observed Result

Absolutely devastating lack of public access to our island.

Hello, Welcome to the Forums.

I have no idea how any discovery algorithms work, but I do know that the goal is to give every new map a chance to be ‘discovered’ in discovery.

It looks like you did appear in the ‘New Combat’ section for 3 hours yesterday.

Anyway, this algorithm did the same with our other game, and it looks kinda unfortunate for us.
No chances for new creators, if they are not copying Roblox, right Epic Games? :smiling_face_with_tear:

Unfortunately yes, you are correct. The algorithm prefers copy paste and replicating other creator maps. Box fights and red vs blue and tycoons. That’s your best bet to avoid the permanent reminder that hardly any other maps are successful :slight_smile: cheers!
