Hi everyone, I have a small issue on UE5.
I only use UE5 for fun designing things not anything serious. My laptop that i use has pretty ok specs for UE5.2, I still have no idea what is the root of the problem. Last week i was using it, it was still fine running everything ok and no problem. This problem appeared a day ago before i posted this question.
I dont get it why it crashed or more accurately shut off. CPU 80-90c and GPU 65-67 with hotspot 99-105c. Already updated the driver and still crash.
Laptop Specs (if needed)
Ryzen 7 5800h
Rx6600m
24gb
1tb
Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6A
Sounds a bit like itâs overheating. Is it hot to touch, underneath?
You might want to throttle stuff back a bit, rather than âtweakingâ.
Also get a laptop cooler.
I actually blew up a high performance laptop, and that was with UE4
Many laptops, especially lower-cost gaming ones, or lighter-weight ones, will not have enough cooling to actually run all the pieces at full speed, unless youâre doing it inside a freezer room.
âsudden immediate turn-offâ sounds very much like overheat â I had that problem too, back when my 1950X wasnât being properly cooled, and it took forever to track that down.
Thanks for the solution!
I clean the fans and it works fine now.
