Why is water not showing in reflections (Ray Tracing)

Hi,

I am using a Water Body Ocean with Gerstner waves. It all looks pretty good, but the water is not showing up in any reflections (boat hull and windows).

Is this a limitation? Or do I need to flip some switches?

Any help is much appreciated.

isnt there a checkbox in rtx/pp settings like include translucent?

That’s not working unfortunately. I switched to waterline PRO and this is visible in reflections.

Also I had some problems showing the UE water trough glass. In one scene it didn’t work and in a new scene it did. I must say however there’s still a great level of noobness involved in my Unreal Engine endeavours.

Has anyone figured this out? There is still no rtx reflection of the water in 4.27 preview…
What am i missing?

I am facing the same kind of issue, of water body ocean not being visible while taking a panoramic screen shot, is buying Waterline PRO the only option to solve this issue or we can get the reflection of water body by tweaking some setting as well ?
