Why is my texture stretched

so I imported this building and at first it was fine but then it was stretched in a lot of parts and even after reimporting base mesh it still stays like this

You could try and unstrech it by the scale button maybe?

This looks like stretched UVs to me.

For example, If you put a grid texture onto your mesh, you’d expect generally the same size grid boxes with the lines straight.

Start with checking the UV map in the software you are importing from, you might be able to repair them there. Also, now with UE5 it is possible to manipulate UVs in-editor. Check this video for an example of how that works.

in poly editor it shows fine but as soon as I apply and exit it’s back to stretched

Thanks a lot dude for the link, I checked and I entered into PolyEdit and the UV were back to normal So I clicked accept and then as I exited it became stretched again
