i can get shadows in UE 5.3, but can not get it in 5.5

Welcome to the Unreal Engine Community Forum! If you migrated it over to the newer version I’d check and make sure the level has a directional light source and make sure you have Cast Shadow enabled. (I’d also check and make sure Static Shadow and Dynamic Shadow are checked) I hope that helps!
