Why doesn't my mesh react to gravity?

Here is my blue print with a static mesh floating happily:

The fact that it’s hanging in the air where I put it makes sense as it has no collision:


So I give it a collision component, set simulate physics and even give it a mass:



I press play on my game and:

It doesn’t drop to the floor. Why?

Try grabbing mesh component and drag it over the box to attach it.
