Why does UE5 take ages to open a new level?

Whenever I open a level, bought from the store or made it by myself, it literally takes ages to just open it. it’s so weird.
My pc is pretty new and it comes with i9 12900k, 3080TI, 64 gb ddr5 and 4TB NVMe M.2.

When opening the editor, it goes so slowly and this is killing me! I had no issue with UE4, everything was perfect but then, with UE5, everything got ■■■■■■ up. I really need help because I can’t figure out the key problem. Thank you all

It looks like it’s compiling shaders. You can take a look at the editor processes in the task manger, and see if that’s the case…

it takes about 70 % of my whole CPU, I really can’t understand what’s the issue

Like I say, look in the task manager.

this is what I get.
During this process, all my fans run at maximum speed!

Yes, it’s the first time you’ve opened the map, right? This is compiling all the materials.

well, it should only happen for the first time and I always save before exiting. On some levels, it just repeats the whole process and I don’t understand why…perhaps there’s a failure.

Ah, you didn’t say that…

That sounds like your cache space is running out. How your hard drive space?

You can also try getting rid of the cache ( but check your drive space first )

It looks like it got solved!
Thank you! Thank you for your time!
and regarding to my drive space, I’ve 2TB left, so I don’t think that’s the problem xD haha
