Does anyone know why NumOpenPublicConnections is never updated for Steam sessions. PS4 and null online interface increments and decrements the value on RegisterPlayer function. Does steam update that value elsewhere?

I have the same problem, but for me it only happens when using Steam and creating a LAN match (using the NULL_SUBSYSTEM), the value is never updated after I join a session. If I try to use the Steam subsystem it doesn’t even join the LAN session.
I too am having this issue. I’m on UE 4.18 using Steam SDK 3.19
