Why do meshes pop in and out of existence when using the Oculus Rift?

I am using an oculus rift with the view independent of the rotation of the character. As I look around, the rigid bodies in the c++ FPS template’s demo level pop in and out of being rendered. Is there something I can do to fix this?

If you are still experiencing the issue you reported in the current engine version, then please respond to this message with additional information and we will investigate as soon as possible.
