I’m trying to use cubemaps as interior. However the images keep getting distorted, the edges are skewed. When I use the same material but with a simple xyz texture, it does work properly. What is causing my textures to get skewed?![alt text][1]
Hi, I believe I have the exact same issue, have you found out what causes this?
I think if the static mesh that you use to generate the HDR image is scaled in Unreal, this will throw off the process.
I used a cube with normals facing inwards that I created in Blender. When I dropped it into the scene, I scale it in the X and Y axis. My ceiling lights were distorted then. When removed the scale, it worked fine.
