Why Are directional lights breaking my new landscape?

Trying to follow along with unreal sensei’s 5 hr tutorial and for some reason when i add a directional light to a brand new landscape on a map i just created the shadows and textures just break. Point lights and spotlights work just fine though. Any explanation for this?

UPDATE: figured it out, the directional light was pointing from the ground up, rotating fixed it :man_facepalming:
