Why animation is not working on render?

I’m currently participating in pwnisher’s community challenge.
Animation playing just fine in sequencer but on render(movie render queue) character standing in A-pose.

I tried to convert it to spawnable- character disappearing from the scene.

Pause animation is not ticked in detailes.

I tried to change character- nothing changes

I am having the same problem.

Other Level Sequences in the same project all is rendering perfectly, but one in particular Level Sequence, using the same characters, the character stays in first frame pose and the animation does not work in the render, even though it works ok in the sequencer.

I have used Take Recorder to record LiveLink from Iclone 8. I’ve been doing this for many renderings and all was ok, until now.

Any ideas?

Solution found - I do hope.

It turns out I need to close the sequencer before I render. I am sure I did not do this in the past as I would always ensure the play head was returned to 0000 and the Camera Cuts Camera was selected. I don’t know if this is a bug I have or if something has changed.

This was a very frustrating and time consuming issue that is now hopefully behind me.
