Why am I getting low resolution in VR Preview



I’ve attached two images. One is what I see when I Play with VR Preview, and the other is what I see in-editor or any other play mode. Do you know why it gets all pixelated? I am running this through Steam VR and iVRy on iOS.

Hey there @DavidTveraas! It could be automatically downscaling it upon detecting the hardware. I’ve never worked with iVRy so this is just a bit of a long shot guess.

I’d make a gesture or something like Touch 5 to change the scalability to see if that changes anything first. (besides tanking your performance obviously). (the proper way to do this only works in builds so this is to test it quickly)

If that works, then we can go and forcibly change the resolution after. Let me know how it goes!

Another possibility is that SteamVR is lowering the render resolution. By default it will automatically attempt to set it based on the graphics hardware. You can configure the resolution manually in the SteamVR settings.
