It may be a teaser trailer with the game a couple years off in the distance, but I haven’t been as excited about a SquareEnix title since they were Squaresoft.

For me Sony ‘won’ this year, I guess I’ll watch the Nintendo show tomorrow but I’m not the biggest fan of anything Nintendo.
Also it was interesting that they said the FF7 remake was coming to PS4 first, I’m really hoping for a PC port as I wouldn’t be over the moon buying a console mainly just for this.

Eh, there are a couple PS4 exclusive titles that I have wanted. The latest Disgaea & Persona titles. But yeah as with anything it runs better on PC if it ported right. The problem is Square has never done a good PC port.
I’ve never really been a FF fan. But that does look interesting. I might give it a try.
I’ll wait Fallout 4 to analyze it on the PC.

Final fantasy 7 is the game i know that has aged the worst of all. There are games before (FF6) that dont look so bad today, due to good pixel art. There are early 3d games that dont look that bad. But, honestly, FF7 just makes my eyes bleed, only got to play it completely modded so i have higher quality 3d models. If a game deserves a remake, FF7 is the one.

This is exactly why I haven’t played it since I was like 12.
Mah body is so ready, FF7 might be the game I’ve sunk the most time in out of anything ever released except probably WoW/LoL and maybe one of the Armored Core games.

I am so ready for this… Now if only they will make a proper sequel to both Chrono Cross and Legend of Dragoon my JRPG life will be complete…until I beat them and need further sequels…

Legend of Dragoon & Chrono Cross were both criminally underrated. People can shoot me all they want, but I still think CC was better than CT. Of course, I’m already a pariah for considering FFVIII superior to FFVII.
I’m wondering if Square intends to use the same active battle system or whether they’ll try and mess with combat to make it more modern. I wouldn’t mind Shiva being brought up to the level of FFXV’s Ramuh summon.
Any idea about the gameplay?

Really I liked 7/8/9 a lot, 10 was cool too but I didn’t like Tidus or Wakka.
As far as I remember the junction system was one of the things I didn’t really like about 8, along with some of the party members but I didn’t actually have much of a problem with Squall.
I always wanted to play Chrono Cross but never had the , didn’t get to spend much time with Legend of Dragoon but did enjoy the time I spent with it.
Remake of 12 or riot.
7 and 10 are cool, but 12 was a lot of fun and had a kickass setting to boot.
Nah Fallout 4 will have Mods. Which is what will make it a trillion times superior to FF7
I’m looking forward to playing this. I got into the final fantasy series with the 13 entry. I’ve seen advent children, but have always wanted to check out ff7 as I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.
