Which VR system should I buy?

The 120hz is nice, I just tried it out, it works fairly well, wireless has some very clear compression but I didn’t notice any lag really. Wired works better with no visible compression artifacts, though I had it crash once.

With the compression I would still prefer wired. The Vive wireless adapter probably works better since it has a dedicated PCI-E card for that communication.

The point on using a laptop for wireless though is not necessarily going to work–they recommend that your PC is using a wired connection, and if you’re a developer and you’re doing demos then you’d have to connect to the same network which could be a big problem. Tethered is still an option though for that.
Also, generally speaking while wireless gives you more freedom of movement, I’m already limited by my room. The only problem I have with a wire is if you spin around, like the 360 mode in Beat Saber, other than that it’s just a minor inconvenience.
