You have no idea how Epic works on Figment. You just base it off what FModel tells you lol.
Guided Missile and Zapatron had some fixes done but they are still the original weapons just duped from the original files and renamed to fit Figment. They don’t rebuild each item from scratch. The only item they’ve done from the ground up is Havoc Stones and that was simply just changing the effect the stones gave you.
Hypex or firemonkey said that “figment” is a different new weapon ID, near to OG mode release
If HYPEX or FireMonkey said “Chapter 2 OG is happening” based off one Figment file would you trust them 100% that it was real?

You can’t base everything off FModel, since the files alone don’t necessarily tell us what Epic actually plans to do with the content. While it is possible that they could bring the mechs over from Figment once we eventually get them back there, I think it’s pretty unlikely that they would actually make them available in Creative Mode.
The mechs were originally removed because of the glitches and issues they were causing, and they still haven’t returned since then. Their files have also been updated since their removal, which makes it seem more likely that those changes were made specifically for Figment Season X rather than as preparation for bringing them back to Creative. Even if the mechs do eventually return to Figment, that doesn’t necessarily mean the same version would be added to Creative, since Epic could keep them exclusive to that experience.
Personally, I would have basically 0 hope of the mechs coming back to Creative Mode. I wouldn’t say it’s completely impossible, though If Epic gets them working properly again and decides to support them in Creative, then there is technically a possibility. But based on everything we know right now, I’d say it’s possible in theory, just extremely unlikely in practice. I definitely wouldn’t expect them to return unless we eventually see some actual evidence that Epic is preparing them for Creative again

I can tell just from this alone that you are unbearably naïve that I wouldn’t be surprised if you believe anything a leaker spouted out their mouth regardless of it was true or not.

They don’t actually “recreate” the weapons. They take the weapons that are already in the game and modify them so they work the way they’re supposed to for that specific mode. The reason a lot of the stuff is labeled as “Figment” is because those are basically modified versions of the original weapons, and the changes are kept separate so they don’t mess with the core game.
For example, they can take an existing weapon and change its damage, fire rate, range, ammo, recoil, or other stats specifically for the mode. Those changes only apply to that version of the weapon, so the original weapon in the main game stays exactly how it was. That’s why it’s not really accurate to say they completely recreated the weapons. They’re modifying the existing ones and making separate versions with different stats and properties so they can work properly without affecting the rest of the game
Are they different IDs? Yes or No? Because the original Guided Missile had the bugs even when it returned to the files. Pump , Burst , old Tec 9 are different weapons at the gallery
