Where to connect Height texture in Material? (Not Height map!)

I got a 3D model which has some a “Height” texture which looks like a gray minimalistic Normal texture

Where should I connect it in the material?
Most similar topics refer to black&weight height maps used for mountain landscape creation.
Others say it should be connected to Normal, but my material already has a proper Normal texture connected:

Some write to turn on tessellation in the material settings and connect the Height texture it to “World displacement”. However, I don’t get this parameter in my material node.

Where should I connect the Height texture in the material?

Thanks!

It’s a '‘whole thing’ with nanite now

Otherwise, you just need a high poly mesh, and displace using WPO and the normal.

This video doesn’t say anything about Height textures.
Or do you mean that I should connect it to the “Displacement” parameter?
I did it but see no difference, even after putting a multiply x100 node in between.

Only the red pin?

It could be that it’s not a good texture. Try using the red pin of the roughness for now…

I tried all the pins separately. No result.
If I click on “Apply changes” under the Nanite settings, the mesh distorts massively.

I can tweak the displacement values in the material settings. However, the mesh is still a little distorted even on the tiniest values.

As for connecting the red pin to roughness, I have already a proper roughness texture connected.
I tried to connect them both it with the Multiply node, but it looks worse. Scratches disappear, and the mesh turns very glossy.

Did you set these?

I mean, use the red pin of the roughness as the displacement vector. Your displacement texture doesn’t really have any values.

So keep the roughness connected as before, but also connect the red roughness pin as displacement.
