When I try and add height fog to my scene, I can’t see it at all, even when I max out density they have no visual effect. I’ve tried using cinematic cameras or playing the level but I still don’t see any fog. I checked to see if it is checked as visible but it is already.

I understand you have attempted to alter the density. Another reason you may not be able to see it may be due to the fog not being enabled. ALT + F will show the height fog.
Additionally, you can Click on [Show] and then [Fog].

My fog is enabled, and now if I try and change any fog attributes it the fog becomes the maximum density in the viewport. When I build the level, the changes I made to the fog are not applied.
