I noticed that there is no Sand Material in UE4. I have been looking for Materials on websites and I cannot find a sand material. Is there any website that you know have a Sand Material? If so please comment link to Website. I want to build a Tropical Island but there is no sand.
You can just create one. IE. copy dirt material, look up sand texture tile on google images and choose one that looks nice, download it, import it into UE4 and on new material, switch dirt texture with sand.
(You can do much more complex things but from looks of it you don’t seem to experienced with UE4)
Open Content Examples project, and in Content Browser search for Desert material. Then right-click it, select Migrate, and navigate to project you want to use asset in. Make sure you maintain same file structure; most likely, you’ll want to drop migrated file in Contents folder of your new project.
Or you’ll have a look at Substance plugin (Link), which offers you opportunity to use Substances. These are propietary materials by Substance Designer from Allegorithmic.
If you don’t want to purchase that software, there is also a wide variety of ready-to-use substances under Link
You can also look into textures.com (Formerly CGTextures.com) they have a large range of textures you can download, some are free usually a 1024 size, some are seamless. You can also sign up and pay for larger resolutions. This is a really late response but hopefully it helps someone looking into it.
your answer provides no useful information that contributes to discussion. if you were offering material then you could post a link to where it can be downloaded or post script for it. also theres already been an accepted answer so theres no need to add to post.
