When I update my Project to a new Twinmotion version it won't keep my datasmith locked to the Project, because once I change something on my Revit and refresh datasmith on twinmotion my Project moves to where it was in the beggining.
How can I solve this please?
if you mean by where it was in the beginning is that all materials textures applied are reverted to the fresh import, then this is becasue you do not pick the option to retain materials when your sync datasmith file. there is a dialogue box for import settings, check for that.
No, I think he means that his models moves. It's doing the same thing for me. I'm an architect and document at 100'-0". In the past, I could export out to datasmith and move my model inside the twinmotion environment and align to ground. However, if I go back to the Revit model to make a change and resave the datasmith file, the model doesn't stay in place - it appears to put it back at 100'-0" above ground. However, when I move it 100'-0" down, it does align pretty well, but the X and Y is off and I have to re-adjust everything.
Yes, the Project model moves to the location it was originally. it does that only if I update the Project to a new Twinmotion version. I had to start a new Project all over again because I wanted to work on Twinmotion 2023.2 version.
