When I import two scene with the same object they got duplicate

I have three scene in blender, one with an assets use by the two other scene.

If I export the two scenes in two different fbx file, even if the meshes have the same name they got duplicate with different import file.

Is there a way to have common static mesh in multiple fbx import ? To prevent duplicate meshes.


I have found a way, import in the same folder in UE4 will give you only one mesh for the two imported scenes !


could you explain what you did to fix that problem? I currently have the same problem.
