when i add a texture as a material. it just tiles doesnt stretch out. what am i doing wrong?

like the headline says. everytime i add a texture to a material the texture tiles into these small boxs. is there a step im missing?

You should be able to add a Texture Coordinate to your Texture Sample and tell it exactly how many times it should tile in the scope of the mesh you are applying. If you are applying to a Geometry Brush (BSP) then you can go into the details and set the Scale for U and V then hit Apply.
