We’re creating a VR game in which you can grab an object and rotate it in only one axis with your hand (motion controller).
The problem we’re facing is that we’ve clamped the rotation from 0 to 180. But when you complete the 180 degrees turn with your hand, the object suddenly rotates to the other side (to 0º). We know that this is because the object rotates until 180º, but your hand can keep rotating until 0º (one lap), and is in that moment when the object detect that 0º and rotates to it.
How would you solve this? Maybe adding a lap tracker or something? I’ve spent a lot of time with this and I can’t get the solution.
