Seen a topic like this on another software forum some time ago. Turned out to be quite some useful tips in there - even for more seasoned users. Maybe we can create something useful over here as well.
First big ‘duh’ for me was: very recently ‘discovering’ how to enable FixedFoveatedRendering on the GO. The extra fps were very welcome after already spending lots of time trying to get performance up in a project with 20+ trees. https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unreal/latest/concepts/unreal-ffr/
Second ‘duh’ was a simple solution for brightening interiors after dropping HDR (+ PPV’s) to get better performance in an indoor-outdoor archviz project on the GO. Just add **a few point lights **instead in the interiors - not too bright - just enough to get the right atmosphere.
