What's everyone playing these days?

Super Smash Bros. For Wii U mostly.

I need a new 4X,since Beyond Earth didn’t really deliver. Recommendations please!

Endless Legend is pretty .

Dragon Age: Inquisition is the current game I’m playing.

Totally blown away by it. The graphics are some of the best I’ve ever seen. For example, the sea/waves and stuff at the Storm Coast is simply mind blowing. I used DA:I as an excuse to upgrade my graphics card to a GTX 970 (hey, the one I had was 3 years old…) and had buyers remorse until I got into DA:I. No regrets now, hah!

Thanks! I actually picked that up the day it came out and enjoyed it a lot.

South Park: Stick of the Truth, just picked up the flash sale on steam for about 15 $/€

Recently picked up “Press X to Win 2” on discount – also known as “Final Fantasy XIII-2” for the PS/3.
I got a PS/4 for the family, but that won’t be unwrapped until Christmas, and that holiday will be full of LBP-3, DA:I, and such
LBP is such a great franchise!

I decided to go on a retro-game spree month (yes its packed).

I’m going to be playing:

  • Half-Life (HL1, HL: OF, HL: BS, HL2 +Eps…these replays were long overdue).
  • Doom (D1, D2… maybe D3 again)
  • Blood (+Plasma Pack)
-UT (In honor of the 15th anniversary!)
  • Quake (First Quake only)
  • Strife (finally found game again, if you haven’t played it…do so…now!)
  • Heretic (or Hexen)
  • Zork (just the Great Underground Empire…its been years).
  • Call of Duty 1, United Offensive, 2, and 4 (yes, Call of Duty was good once)
  • Bioshock Infinite (for good emotional pleasure…for Christmas)

Right now I’m tackling HL1… I’m on “Unforeseen Consequences” … and man its so much fun!
I really miss the older style of level design, where ever nook and cranny meant something.
Also, I completely forgot how immersive and detailed game was…its insane! I can’t believe style of immersion died as FPS games continued.

Out of curiosity: how has Dragon Age been.
I was never a Bioware fan, but the game intrigued me. What do you think so far?

As for Far Cry 4, I haven’t liked a FC game since the second one (yeah…I actually liked that game…), but I’m also curious to hear how that’s going.
Mainly if the servers keeping knocking you off or not.

I’m also curious about the general consensus for DOOM 3. I know a ton of people hate it, but what are your thoughts? Personally, it wasn’t DOOM 1/2, but it was by no means bad. It was one of the most enjoyable FPS games out there and it hold a ton of great memories for me.

Happy Gaming,
~

Really nice choices in those games, HL is definitely one of the most important games ever, thing, also, try playing the Black Mesa Source remake.
Dragon age is really, REALLY good, it doesnt deserve the low recognicion, but thats what happens when your primary audience is PC guys and you make near unusable pc controls. game, sets the bar really high for new RPGs.
Farcry 4 is a fun game, if you havent played 3, but you played 2, probably you will like it, i played “free demo” for around 3 hours, didnt touched again due to dragon age. I would have bought it if it wasnt for Uplay DRMception and that i dont like what is doing lately.
Dunno about doom3

Alien: Isolation.

Beautiful and punishing, frequently painful, very engaging.

My all time fav fps game atm. Had such a fun time playing . Was a pleasure to play in such a beautifully made and rendered world.

Presently polishing off Darksiders 1 and The Talos Principle. My ocd demands these games be finished before I continue work on my project. lol

I started Dragon Age: Inquisition about two weeks ago and don’t remember what the sun looks like, when I’m not at work I’m playing DA:I or League!

I played DA:I quite a lot myself. Eventually had to remind myself that there was life outside the front door. =P Possibly one of the largest RPGs I’ve ever played.

Been playing (probably a little to much) Borderland The Pre-Sequel. Great addition to the series.

Hadn’t had much time to game lately, but I did get a to play a few bot matches in the UT alpha which were fun. I love Outpost23 with low gravity. =)

I just finished Crysis 3. I liked it, but it unfortunately ran like a dog (15 fps) on my triple screen 1440p setup. Even with my crazy Tri-SLI 980 rig, it was too much. I played on a single screen, but the game was still cool.

Right now I have Dreamfall Chapters in queue on Steam. Looks nice. I also played Life is Strange, which was absolutely . If you liked Gone Home, you will love .

I watched someone play Destiny and Evolve a few weeks ago, I’ve really been wanting to play the Last of Us (I’ve seen a lot of it) and Five Nights at Freddy’s.

I have played the newest Wolfenstein, it was fun but I remember getting stuck in a water level with a submarine and I had to look online how to get past it. A little too reminiscent of the early days

Wolf Among Us was a lot of fun, I think the walking/slightly faster walking speed needs to be increased even further and I hate mashing buttons. Also tried about the first ten minutes of the Game of Thrones telltale game, it was different.

Played a few more of the games mentioned above, good times

Nearly every time I wanna play something, I need more time to decide what I wanna play than actually playing.

My current favorite pool is:

CS:GO, still WoW, Hearthstone, The Sims 4 :D, Anno 2070, Skyrim, Far Cry 4, Prison Architect

But playing my own game to test, becomes a more and more important factor in my spare time.

Crysis 2 and 3 - Mass Effect 2 and 3. all on the Greatness.

I started it last November, and it has consumed almost all my spare time since . I’m almost at the end, so hopefully I will be able to concentrate on UE, now.

Quake live.
Hoping UT4 becomes competitive. And that it captures people. Because SA has a small gamer community. We do not have a lot of options to choose from if playing online.
