Will I have to start anything from scratch? Will it effect current blueprints or levels?
Updating your projects to 4.3 should do nothing to your assets 
If you are afraid of a problem, when you open it, select ‘convert a copy’ (or something along those lines) which will create an exact replica of your project and then update that, then you can see if it ruined anything (shouldn’t though)
