Is there a way to create selection sets for controls in Unreal Engine? I’m currently using the pose animation tool to select multiple controls, save them as a pose, and then use the select control feature. Does Unreal Engine have a built-in feature for this?
Hello @mundocota, Unreal Engine does not currently have a built-in feature specifically designed for creating selection sets for Control Rig controls like you might find in other DCC tools (e.g., Maya).
Using Poses to Select Controls:**
Yes, saving a pose and using the “Select Controls” option from the pose asset is currently the best workaround. This lets you reselect the same controls later it’s not exactly a selection set, but it’s the closest built-in method.
