Itβs looks to me like ambient occlusion. Just that itβs too low resolution so it seems grainy.

I must agree with 3dRaven, this certainly looks like Ambient Occlusion. As far as I am aware there may not be a solid solution to your current concern. One thing I attempted to do was use a post processing volume and apply the same settings from the documentation.
I have also noticed that if I increase the Engine Scalability Settings, the results are mildly better. here is a comparison.
