I can apply niagara to an entire mesh but what if I want to apply it to part of the static mesh, for example the wheels of a car or a small section of a wall?
The only way I know how to do this is to import the model in pieces from the 3d modelling software.
Is there a more straightforward way to apply niagara to one section of a model? Perhaps through a material slot or in blueprints?
This is not something I have personally had to do however I would imagine that you could use a mask to mask off the parts of the mesh that you want niagra to spawn particles on.
Thanks for the suggestion. I think it’s easier to go into the 3D modelling software and separate the object into two objects so I’ll stick to that method for now.
