what is going on with this attach to actor?

I’m trying to set up grabbing in VR and the pick up function is implemented the same was as in the pickup cube blueprint. I’m not sure why lifting up the actor detaches from the hand without either actor knowing that they should be detached. Any help is appreciated thank you.

Yeah, It’s based of the character class so it’ll have that. I’ll give it a shot and let you know probably sometime tomorrow.

If the picked actor is a character with a movement component, you may need to disable said component as you pick the actor up - it likes sticking to the ground.
