As far as I know, nothing is being done to add the Interactive Foliage function present in UDK into UE4. The closest thing would be be this: Physics Interactable Foliage - YouTube but it really feels unnecessarily complicated to overcome the lack of this once very easily accessible feature.
How come this isn’t talked about? I can’t imagine a game today, especially with the level of detail most are striving for, having completely static/pass through foliage.
Is this being worked on? Is there any way we could ping Epic about this and voice our need for such a feature? (I couldn’t find it on the Trello board, which leads me to think it’s not even being considered, sadly).
