What else would effect particle view distance other then the bounds?

I have set the bounds to an over-generous size and tried adding a cull volume with no long range view effect. Partile effect only pops into view when coming close.

you need to restart ue4 before bounds actually work.
very annoying, but works.

be sure to set the bounds to something more respective beforehand though :slight_smile:

sadly this does not work, particle is still popping in only when getting close

Are you sure you set your particle LOD’s up correctly?
if they are messed up, when getting close, another LOD might kick in without any emitters active.

Set Desired max Draw Distance in level to 0
