I’m playing on mouse and keyboard and Everytime my controller dies and I have to turn it back on mid match my screen glitched and I can’t move see my in game menu or anything I have to restart and lose all match progress. It puts me in a screen where I’m underwater and seeing trees it happens Everytime my controller dies when I’m using keyboard. I would upload a picture but I don’t think I can.

Play mouse and keyboard on Xbox one and let controller die mid match and turn controller back on and login to profile again and screen will falter to underwater

Im having the same issue its only happened when i’m in Zero build battle royale. Its happened 3 times so far ; once a couple days ago when my controller bugged out and it gave me an error code on my xbox saying “You need a controller to play this game”. The second time was today when it did the same thing after it alerted me my controller batteries were low , and then the third time about 20 minutes later when my controller died mid-game. Usually this has never been a problem I just pop some new batteries in and carry on playing. Unfortunately not the case. Each time I was playing duos and my teammate said i was still in game, i could still move but on my end there was that same underwater screen. I can’t even exit the match I have to exit the whole game and then open fortnite again.
No, it’s on battle Royale anytime my controller would die or say you need a controller to play this game and have me re sign in and put me to that screen.
