The vertical stripes are visible in the screenshots. If I drop the Metahumans to the scene, there is no issue with the hair. However, in the sequencer, when I use a animation for the body. The hair goes like in the screenshots. Any ideas why this happens?
I too am having the same issue. I tried turning off certain lights and no change.
I have found a workaround, but not exacty remember at the moment unfortunately. Because I’ve tried so many aproach, there were two characters in the scene and each one needed different solution.
I remember one of the character’s hair became acting normal after upgrading the legacy (5.1) Metahuman to up to date (5.4) Metahuman.
I have found if you open the Blueprint of the character and choose the hair, and the physics element. You can try to refresh that by clicking on those assets again.
