Weird mesh deform interpolation on Modular Character Parts

So i’m currently making a modular character system and i found this weird issue, every time the character plays an animation and transitions to another (my example uses a blendspace but it also happens on regular anim transition) it deforms really weirdly like as if the mesh ignores the weightpaint i already made or something. The thing is, the transitions look fine when i use a regular merged models, this thing only happens if i separate each modular parts.

i already have that setup, so… turns out it was just a weight painting issue after all. I tweaked the weight paint on parts of my mesh that deforms weirdly (i just repainted the ones that are green & make it red) and it interpolates correctly now. I still don’t exactly know why it works when it’s merged and not when it’s separated but hey, at least it works now. Thanks for the answer tho!
