Weird deformation in unreal after a blender import

So I imported animation for my character from blender and I’m getting weird deformation mostly around the arms area and some on the head.

I tried changing the skinning and even merging the bracelets to the body so they have the same skinning but that only made it worse by the looks of it. I see the arm deforming when I try to rotate the shoulder bone in unreal on the main model. I don’t know what to do anymore, I used all the right settings for an import from blender I think, please help!! ;-;



Are you using the UE4 mannequin or your own custom skeleton? If you’re using the UE4 Mannequin, then you need to adjust the retargeting settings. This video shows how to do that:

Ok, try looking at the video. It addresses a similar issue within the first few minutes. It might fix your issues.
