So, i was setting up my scene when i was playing around with the project settings and i then turned on virtual textures and virtual texture streaming in the rendering settings. i then started placing the assets. all rock assets have this issue i have checked with the static mesh plants and other static meshes, anything 3d like curbs, barriers have the issue but plants do not. what’s going on???
further clarification: i have a landscape auto material going on as well as a few normal landscape materials all in one layer, and in world partition i deleted the hlods that were built, i used the open world default map and then deleted it to make a new landscape. but these things shouldnt affect anything with the textures. i have also tried building virtual textures and vt streaming, disabled static lighting in rendering settings, and changed the master materials AO to a value greater than 0 but no change. any and all advice, help or suggestions is wholly welcome!
